A view of the main open plan living and sleeping area in the home of Frank Sargeson at 14 Esmonde Road, Takapuna, taken from the kitchen area. One of two writing desks Sargeson used is to the riht of the farthest armchair. Historical note: Frank Sargeson was one of New Zealand's foremost writers, and lived at this address from 1931 until his death in 1982.
