Formal portrait of Don Stott in New Zealand army uniform, World War Two. Probably taken around the time he first enlisted in 1939. but may be slightly later. Historical note: Donald John Stott was the son of Robert and Annie Stott of Birkenhead, and was educated at Takapuna Grammar. He enlisted in the Second NZ Expeditionary Force in 1939 and served with the 5th Field Regiment NZ Artillery as a sergeant in Greece and then Crete from May 1940 to May 1941.
