Looking east from vicinity of Beach Road, towards wooden footbridge which spans the Wairau Estuary from Milford Beach to Castor Bay Point. A boat sails beneath the bridge to enter the estuary. One house is visible on Castor Bay Point and to the right a small portion of Milford swimming pool. Telegraph lines traverse the skyline.
