Description

Copy of 1-W1377 by Henry Winkelmann, looking east from Birkenhead across to Rangitoto showing Little Shoal Bay (foreground), Northcote, Shoal Bay, Bayswater, Ngataringa Bay and Stanley Point. House in the foreground belonged to the McGilp family. McGilp was a local policeman. The scow would bring coal to the gasworks.
