Katherine Sheriff walks through a flock of hens as her father Joe looks on from the doorway of the gum store at the rear of the family's home and general store in Milford. Historical note: The house and general store was at the intersection of East Coast, Kitchener and Shakespeare Roads in Milford, and was known as Sheriff's Corner.
