John Bartrum, eldest son of John and Constance Bartrum of 7 Rewiti Avenue Takapuna, in school uniform. The Bartrum children were students at Takapuna Grammar School in the 1920s. Historical note: Professor John Arthur Bartrum had a distinguished career in geology, and taught at Auckland University College..
