Description

Sinking the bore for the new swimming pool at Albany School. Historical note: Road construction and the replacement of Day's Bridge left the local creek dirty for long periods and unsuitable for the school children to swim in. In 1943 permission was sought to provide a swimming pool with money raised from the community.
