Description

Members of the Milford tennis Club, possibly taken at the start of the new season, 1950s. Third row eighth from left - Sheila Delves. Others not identified. Historical note: The club originated as the Milford Recreation Club, sponsored by the Milford Ratepayers Association. The tennis club itself took its name, the Kitchener Park Tennis Club, from the surrounding Kitchener Park. The club's first meeting was June 9 1927
