A view of one of two built-in desks writer Frank Sargeson used in his home at Esmopnde Road in Takapuna. (The second desk is in an annex off the main sleeping and living area). Historical note: Frank Sargeson was one of New Zealand's foremost writers, and lived at this address from 1931 until his death in 1982.
