Candid family photograph of Margaret and John Bartrum, the two eldest children of John and Constance Bartrum of Rewiti Avenue, Takapuna, climbing on a farm gate. Location is not known. Historical note: Professor John Arthur Bartrum had a distinguished career in geology, and taught at Auckland University College. He married Constance Lorrie and they settled at 7 Rewiti Avenue in Takapuna. He and Constance had four children: John Wynyard (1912-1975), Margaret Patricia (1914-1991), Eleanor Const...
