"Members of the Kokiri Maori culture training centre at Otara and the headmaster and two pupils of Flat Bush Primary School, Otara, gather around the traditional Maori lintel, Pare, the centre presented to the school. The lintel was carved in six weeks by Buck Pompey, a member of the Aronui Kokiri Centre at Lovegrove Crescent, run by the Department of Maori Affairs.
