Aerial view of the Anglican Church's Papatoetoe Orphan Home, Wyllie Road, Papatoetoe, April 1949. The first stage of this home, re-sited from Parnell, was formally opened on 1 May 1909. The chapel (the building nearest the camera) was completed in 1919; the main administration building (the building with the tower) dates from 1923.
