Description

View of the Papatoitoi (later Papatoetoe) District School, on the corner of Great South Road and Station Road East, 1906. This image has been scanned from a clipping from an unidentified publication, but a reference on the back of the clipping to the 'Land Bill of 1906' has enabled it to be dated with reasonable confidence. The flagstaff that can be seen to the right of the main school building was erected in 1900.
