Aerial view of the Tironui portion of Papakura, 2 May 1950. This photograph was taken looking south-westward across the southern part of Takanini towards the Tironui peninsula and the Pahurehehure inlet. Morris Road (later Porchester Road) crosses the middle foreground, with the railway line and the Great South Road beyond. The northern outskirts of Papakura township are to the left.
