Description

"A new Catholic secondary school for girls has been opened in Otahuhu. The school, McAuley High School, is named after the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy and is built on the site of the old convent which was demolished last year ... Sister Margaret Mary (later Sister Moira Feeney) is ably assisted by Sister Mary de Pazzi who also teaches full time." (South Auckland Courier, 13 February 1963, p. 19)
