Description

View of Brookside School, about 1895. Brookside School was built in 1876. It became known as Glenbrook School in 1912. In this photograph, the teacher can be seen standing at the door of the porch. Three boys are playing marbles; another group of children has formed a circle to play ringa-roses (ring-a-ring o' roses). The teacher's house can be seen in the background.
