Exterior view of St John's Church, Hampton Park, East Tāmaki, November 2013.A drystone wall is in the foreground. The church, which was originally built for the Reverend Gideon Smales in 1862, was gutted by fire in 1965. It was then rebuilt in the original style and reopened in February 1968. It has since been extended.
