Description

Photograph taken during a rugby match between King's College and Christ's College from Christchurc on Thursday 6 May 1971 marking King's College 75th Jubilee. "The two schools have met twice previously - in 1920 and 1926. King's won both rugby matches in those clashes and Thursday's game was no exception. Although neither side dominated the loose or tight play, King's came out winners by 8 - 6." (South Auckland Courier Central Edition, 12 May 1971, p. 79)
