Description

Panoramic view of the Westfield Freezing Company's freezing works as seen from Hamlins Hill, ca 1916. The Ōtāhuhu Borough Council's water tower on Mount Richmond can be seen on the horizon. Kempthorne Prosser & Company's fertilizer works is visible in the middle distance. To the right, the Westfield spur railway line crosses the tidal inlet of Ann's Creek to join the main trunk railway line.
