New Zealand bowling champion Percy Jones of the Otahuhu Railway Bowling Club plays a ball during his attempt to win the Vitalite World Bowls drawing contest. Unfortunately, Percy, winner of the national singles and pairs titles the previous season, failed in his attempt.
