Description

Portrait of Mr William Trice of Poplar Farm, Whitford, ca 1905. Mr Trice, who arrived in New Zealand in 1841, settled with his brother George at Turanga Creek (later known as Whitford) in 1843, and farmed there for more than 60 years. He died at home aged 91 years on 6 August 1907.
