Description

Carrier Bruce Ward ('B.C. Ward, carrier, Waiuku') loading cream cans at the Waiuku wharf, ca 1920. The cream cans were picked up by launch from various points along the Manukau Peninsula, unloaded at the Waiuku wharf, and transferred to the local butter factory by truck. The passenger boat 'Te Toa' can be seen tied up at the wharf in the background.
