Description

Mrs Pearl Baker, Deputy-mayor of Manukau City, handing over the keys to 'Baker House' to Dr S. W. P. Mirams director, Division of Mental Health, Otara. Mrs Baker and her husband had donated the house in Wymondley Road to the Mangere Hospital and Training School. The Government converted the house into a day care centre for mentally disabled children
