"The home of Aucklands prize sheep C.T. Bariball [sic] Waiuku". Mr Charles Thomas Barriball poses with some of his prize-winning Lincoln sheep in front of his home, 'Brooklands', ca 1899. Mr Barriball built Brooklands on his 242-acre farm at Waiuku East (later renamed Pukeoware) soon after his marriage to Eliza Hodge in 1872.
