"A terrifying accident that happened in Whakatane shortly before Christmas 1990 was recently re-enacted near Papakura by a Communicado television cast and crew, filming an episode for the homegrown docudrama 'Heroes'. The story, in which John and Madeleine Webb pulled two survivors from a burning Mazda wreck, will screen in July as part of 'Heroes' second series.
