Description

Inside Ngaro te Kotare, the Auckland Tramping Club's hut in the Cascade Kauri Park. Historical note: The 7.5 acre site was bought by the Club in 1928 with the assistance of a loan from some of its members. Building was started in December 1928 with foundation blocks cut from the remains of a fallen totara.
