Stereograph of the Avondale School's First World War roll of honour. The memorial tablet, unveiled on 20 December 1919, was a marble slab mounted on polished rimu and was inscribed with the names of a total of 33 former pupils ('The brave boys who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918').
