Description

Three horses pulling a cart on a bush-clad dirt road in the Waitakere Ranges with several large kauri trees and buildings in the background. Historical note: The slab, shingle-roofed house on the ridge behind the horse and cart was a stopping place for travellers. It was the home of the Byles family who arrived in the area about 1890.
