This silk and guipure lace dress appeared in the summer 1963 issue of New Zealand Vogue. Designed by Bruce Papas for Milne Choyce department store, the photo by Michael Gillies was part of an article called 'Five leaders of New Zealand Couture'. The dress, modelled by Anne McClurg, is described as a "pure silk dress for cocktails or race wear, with oblique tiers of guipure lace".
