Description

Matt Grace was raised in Wadestown, Wellington, and now lives in Auckland. His work includes commercial and advertising photography as well as pieces that take more of a fine arts approach. This charmingly domestic colour photograph was taken in 2015 as a tribute to the late Auckland photographer Robin Morrison, and references his classic 1979 work ‘Mr and Mrs Lawrence of Bannockburn in Central Otago,’ which is a favourite of Grace as well as both the sitters.
