Description

A photographic postcard showing the interior of the Te Horo Branch of the Otaki Cheese Factory. The scene is of two cheese settling vats with cutters in position in the left hand vat. The cheese moulds and press are between the two staff members in the picture. At the end of the vat is the factory manager, Bill Lander (second from right). To the right is an assistant, Cecil Souness, who was killed in France in July 1917. Details are written on the back of the postcard.
