This 1945 poster promotes the New Zealand branch of Moral Re-Armament (MRA), an international moral and spiritual movement that arose in Britain in the 1930s. Its founder, US evangelist Frank Buchman, called it 'an ideology inspired by God upon which all can unite. Catholic, Jew and Protestant, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist and Confucianist – all find they can change, where needed, and travel along this good road together.' (Frank N. D. Buchman, Remaking the world.
