Tourists observe and photograph seabirds from one of the boats operated by Albatross Encounter, a Kaikōura ecotourism company. Boats take passengers out to sea to see the diverse range of seabirds in the vicinity of the Kaikōura Peninsula, including albatrosses, petrels, shearwaters, shags, terns and gulls.
