Waikopua Valley, Whitford with Wade's old cottage looking out to sea. The Doidges built a sod cottage her in the 1850s, then built the wooden cottage. This was once the site of St Stephen's Maori School. Mrs Wade was a Miss Doidge and aunt to John Tudehope who used to stay there as a boy. Mrs Wade was sister to his mother and sister to Sir Frederick Doidge, High Commissioner for New Zealand in London. Also shows, sheds, a derelict car, pile of firewood, fences, a gate, trees, road and the creek
