The Governor General of New Zealand, Sir Bernard Freyberg with Mr A E Mansford, Mayor of Palmerston North, at the opening of an exhibition of art works gifted to New Zealand. The gifts were sent to the Polish Army League, based in Palmerston North, by the soldiers of the Carpathian Division in Italy.
