This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 28 June 1958, page : "G. Eastham, who is partly obscured by K. Wynkes, endeavours to pull the switchboard out to obtain a better view of the damaged area of the Pascal Street sub-station following the explosion this morning. Oil was splattered over the floor."
