Description

Looking along the main street of Westport lined with crowds at the beginning of the peace celebration parade, which is led by a brass band and a mounted army officer, followed by returned servicemen and nurses. A man is standing on a shop verandah. Bunting is strung across the street and the shop verandahs have been decorated with nikau fronds.
