Showing an artist's sketch in 1919 of the stern of a vessel named Louise, the Solomon Islander crew of which is hunting a shark over the stern. One man who has acted as the bait in the water is reaching for the rope lowered from the vessel while his crewmate dives onto the shark with knife extended. Other crew members watch on. Several items of clothing are tied to the vessel's rigging to dry. More clothing or possibly mats, are draped on the boom.
