Description

Railway bridge across a Bay of Plenty harbour. A view of the existing railway bridge leading over the harbour from the town of Tauranga to the opposite shore. A proposal to build a similar traffic bridge is at present receiving official attention. Such a bridge would shorten by almost two-thirds the distance between Tauranga and the Mount beach, popular summer rendezvous across the harbour
