Drawing from a German photo of the meeting of German and French plenipotentiaries in Marshal Foch's railway carriage at Compiegne, where the 1918 armistice was signed. Standing at far left is General Keitel. Hitler is sitting on his left, with Goering next to him. Sitting on the left with his back to the camera is Grand Admiral Raeder. Seated to Keitel's right is General von Brauchitsch and next to him is Rudolf Hess. The French delegates on the right are General Huntziger and Admiral Le Luc.
