The Russians are taking the greatest trouble to guard the Siberian railway. By day and night they have watchful guards, and in the darkness send out patrols equipped with searchlights. At the end of February three Japanese, disguised as coolies, are said to have been arrested by the frontier guards as they were on the point of attempting to blow up the bridge over the Sungari River.
