Description

Hundreds, nay, thousands of New Zealanders and tourists to her shores, have a warm corner in their hearts for the old Arawa, of the Shaw. Savill Co., which, after long and honourable service, now makes way for the new liner of the same name. The old Arawa was a yacht-like vessel, with a clipper bow. The new boat, as will be seen, has a straight bow. Her great beam makes her an exceptionally comfortable boat for passengers
