Description

During the COVID-19 pandemic, two friends meet at the Manawatū River near Pork Chop Hill in the evening. Their conversation is able to be heard from quite a distance away because there is no traffic noise. "I suppose you heard everything we were saying?" I'm asked as I approach. "Yes...it's very loud...I'm thinking of contacting a Noise Control officer," I reply.
