A performance at the Auckland Town Hall. Possibly the Auckland Choral Society's first performance of Bach's St Matthew Passion on 6 July 1957. Nine soloists, including Donald McIntyre; Auckland Choral Society, Auckland Girls Grammar and Presbyterian Broadcasting choirs (chorales only); augmented Auckland String Players; conductor Ray Wilson.
