Description

Portrait of Kerry Ashby, who was one of the speakers at the Manurewa Cosmopolitan Club’s sports award evening in September 1978. As deputy-chairman of the World Rowing Championship's organising committee he recapped the history of the sport and noted that many countries would be sending their teams to New Zealand for the 1978 event at Lake Karapiro.
