Description

Sergeant Dick King, a policeman from Henderson, gets a 'lift' from nursing sisters Captain Ernie Colwell (left, Howick) and Lieutenant Pauling Aickin (Hamilton) during the first aid session at the training weekend held at Whangaparaoa Army Camp. The purpose of the weekend was to practice certain basic military skills and included training and revision in shooting, radio procedures, driver training, the erecting of tents and first aid.
