Description

The wedding of Ormond Edward Burton and Helen Agatha Tizard ('Nell'). The couple were married at St Lukes Presbyterian Church, Remuera. February 1926. Taken on the steps of a house, possibly the Tizard home, 38 Seaview Rd, Remuera. Nell had been very active in the YWCA movement in Auckland, and Ormond was later to become well known as an advocate of pacifism.
