Description

New Zealand Fire Service Parade: Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board vintage fire tender passing the Auckland Town Hall (left) and Aotea Square car park construction site. Members of the official party can be seen in the left foreground. This 1948 V8 pump joined the AMFB fleet no.9 in 1956 and was based at Avondale and Mount Wellington. It was briefly at MOTAT in 1974 and then privately owned, ending up at Horopito Motors.
