This image was not published in The Manawatu Evening Standard, taken on 28 January, 1964. "Yesterday was Mrs Blanche Curtin's wedding day--but it was a wedding with a difference. For Mrs Curtin--now Mrs H. Scotton--is 91 years of age. Mr Scotten, in his seventies, is an Englishman who came to New Zealand about two years ago. The newly-married couple will live in Wanganui, which has been Mrs Scotton's home for the part eight years
