Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 19th March, 1963. "Girl Guides and Brownies had no trouble in selling their "Girl Guide biscuits" on Saturday. One happy customer was Mrs D. R. Caldwell, of Park Road. She is seen buying from Margaret Woollett (left), Janice Mawhinney and Irene Kent, of the West End Group." The transcription has been edited to correct the spelling of Woollett, which originally appeared in print as Wilcott.
